Horse camp offers an amazing, fun-filled, outdoor camp experience for youth in the Second Grade or are a Wolf or above for the 2024-2025 school year. We are offering three sessions filled with horse-related fun!
UNIQUE EXPERIENCE
Welcome to the breathtaking R-C Scout Ranch, nestled along the scenic Christopher Creek and surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of one of the world’s largest Ponderosa Pine forests. R-C is the perfect setting for youth to have an amazing outdoor experience with horses. Horse Camp is centered on youth spending time and interacting with our horses. It is the perfect introduction to horses, where youth learn how to properly feed and care for the horses. They go on horseback trail rides and have fun playing games and doing crafts. Parents may join in on the activites and crafts. The horseback trail rides will only be for the youth campers.
LIMITED AVAILABILITY
We suggest campers register early, as there is a limited number of youth campers per session. Each session is three days of activity and two nights of camping and includes meals from Day 1 Lunch to Day 3 Lunch. We invite you to arrive early and add on an extra night of camping.
ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS
We have a variety of lodging options available for families: rustic tents, family tents, and cabins. Please see the Parent’s Guide for more information on these options. Please email GCC.Program@grandcanyonbsa.org to add the rent-a-tent option.

All Sessions cost $260 per youth and $195 per adult
